One month. Five weddings. More than 4566 edited images. Needless to say, I’ve been a bit busy. How lucky am I that I love what I do. I have met so many wonderful couples this year and shared in their big days. Elise and Josh’s big day was certainly one of a kind, and I do have a little crush on German Village weddings. I loved the choices they made for their day, but it was the events that really captivated me. Their family set butteflies free in the garden the day before their wedding, some of whom elected to stay for the ceremony (and even pose for a photograph). Elise and Josh exchanged rings in a private setting after the “first look,” which was a first for me. And they also had a handfasting ritual during the ceremony that was truly lovely and unique. Thanks, Elise and Josh, for sharing your wonderful day with me.
